Bethany Hoffmann
Principal Attorney
Bethany T. Hoffmann is the Principal Attorney at Hoffmann Immigration Law LLC in Rockford, Illinois. Ms. Hoffmann concentrates her practice in the areas of family-based immigration, naturalization, petitions under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), U Visas, and removal defense. She routinely represents clients across the United States and the globe before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Department of State. Ms. Hoffmann is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law (2004), and has focused her practice in immigration law for over 15 years. Ms. Hoffmann is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), which has over 16,000 members worldwide. She currently serves on the executive board for the AILA Chicago Chapter and is its immediate past chair (2023-2024), during which time she also served on AILA National’s Board of Governors. Ms. Hoffmann is a frequent speaker on immigration law and policy; and has testified as an immigration expert before both the Illinois Senate and Illinois House of Representatives on U Visas and U Visa certifications.
